EATING RIGHT IN 2020
We are excited to announce a 2 part workshop series this Winter. Make 2020 your year to get your nutrition on track! These classes led by Rise Registered Dietitian, Dena. Each class is $25 or register for both classes (trust us, you will want more!) for $40 (feel free to bring spouse at no additional cost). Non-Rise athletes welcome at the same
Part 1 “All about Weight Goals”
You will leave knowing:
o How to calculate Calories for your needs (whether that’s fat loss, maintenance or gain!)
o Why crash diets and fads are one of the WORST things you can do for your metabolism
o How to balance macronutrients for YOU (how much protein should I really be eating?
Are carbs bad? Etc.)
o What to eat for energy (and avoid those mid-afternoon slumps)!
o What to eat prior to a workout for fuel and after for recovery
Part 2 “Meal Planning Made Easy”
After learning how to get your calories and macronutrients on track, learn how to meal plan for long term success! Back by popular demand is the next Meal Planning workshop! Every dietitian will tell you long term success with good nutrition is all about planning ahead. Learn to plan ahead to make dinners a breeze, what to chop ahead of time, how to store produce so it lasts longer, how to choose healthy recipes, and other tips, trick, and ideas. You will leave with recipes and “homework” to get started on your own. As always there will be time for questions at the end!
