MORE ABOUT OUR RISE RUN CLUB GROUP TRAINING PROGRAM:
One of our passions is working with ordinary people with extraordinary goals.
Our half and full marathon training program is designed for those contemplating training for their first half marathon, full marathon, or for an athlete looking to PR.
ATHLETE LEVEL: We plan 3 runs each week as well as 2 cross training days. The 3 runs are focused on quality, speed, and building endurance. They include track repeats (we suggest RRC Power), a mid-distance tempo run (we suggest RRC Pursuit), and the long run. For cross training days, we encourage our athletes to join us for in-studio classes HIIT IT BASE & HIIT IT GROW in order to push their cardiovascular systems as well as build the strength required for a safe race. Our runners find that the combination of running and cross training provides a long run that is attainable, smooth and enjoyable (most of the time!). Each week our participants receive a newsletter with pertinent training information and guidance that help them train well, fuel well, and cross the finish line at their best. We also have group runs planned for Saturday mornings. Even though there are so many value-adds to this program, we have found that the camaraderie and accountability are by far the most rewarding part.
PRO LEVEL: Similar to the ATHLETE LEVEL, PRO LEVEL prioritizes strength training & cross training. This level of training includes more weekly mileage and is for the athlete who has multiple distance races under their belt. As an experienced runner, this training level will add 1-2 more days of running to help reach that lifetime personal record or maybe a BQ.
At this time, we have 2 programs annually. The first is in training for April's Cap City Half Marathon (training begins in January) and the second is for the Columbus Half and Full Marathon in October (training begins in July).
ONLINE ONE-ON-ONE COACHING - $125/month
+ One-on-one Coaching from Certified RRCA Running Coach and Certified Personal Trainer = 2 x 20min one-on-one monthly meetings with your coach.
+ Individualized training plan created for you based on race history, current goals and taking into account your strengths & weaknesses.
+ Race History review for race prediction and personalized pacing goals for upcoming season.
+ Individualized fueling plan.
+ Access to Online Workouts: Designed for runners, these at-home HIIT IT & strength workouts built for our runners.
